The Most Awarded Orange Liqueur
The Ultimate Beverage Challenge deams Cointreau as the perfered orange liqueur
The Ultimate Beverage Challenge (UBC) has just released the results of their innovative annual competitions: Ultimate Spirits Challenge and Ultimate Cocktail Challenge with Cointreau once again awarded as the prefered Orange Liquer sweeping the competition.
The UBC provides expert evaluation of spirits, cocktails and wines for producers, importers and marketers alike to identify, recognize and reward those products which stand out in their respective categories, showing superior quality. Multiple panels of the highest-qualified experts led by F. Paul Pacult (Judging Chairman and UBC founder) and Sean Ludford (Assistant Judging Chairman) included world-reknowned mixology superstars Jacques Bezuidenhout, Dale DeGroff, Jim Meehan, Gaz Regan, Julie Reiner, Steve Olson, Audrey Saunders, Marcos Tello and David Wondrich. Each judge blind-tasted entries by classification in appropriately grouped flights within each major spirits category, scoring each on the 100-point scale.
Cointreau was awarded the Chairman’s Trophy accolade as the highest score in the category for all three classic cocktails in the Ultimate Classic Cocktail competition:
BEST ORANGE LIQUEUR in a:
Cosmopolitan - Cointreau
Margarita - Cointreau
Sidecar - Cointreau
Additionally, Cointreau’s innovative signature cocktail The Cointreau Cup was also awarded the highest accolade of the Chairman’s Trophy in the Ultimate Cocktail Challenge.
