Margarita
The Margarita is a classic and very famous cocktail always served in an original glass! It is a very refreshing cocktail, with a perfect balance of sweet and sour taste! Cointreau is a key ingredient in this recipe, using anything else is simply "not worth its salt"…
The original 1948 recipe was founded by Margarita Sames at a party in her Acapulco villa. She had the idea to mix fresh lime juice with her two favorite drinks: Cointreau and Tequila. Her cocktail kept the party during for two weeks!
Spicy notes of the tequila, refreshing notes of the lime as well as the smooth fruity flavor of the Cointreau makes Margarita a full-flavored and bracing cocktail with lots of character and an exceptionally long aftertaste.
It’s not a party without Margarita, and it’s not Margarita without Cointreau!
