Cosmopolitan
San Francisco, 1990, a mixologist fashioned a unique cocktail, both stylish and sophisticated, that shaked the cocktail culture for years to come. Cointreau, vodka, fresh lime and cranberry juiced, crowned with a flamed orange zest: the Cosmopolitan was born.
Strong and smooth, the Cosmopolitan is extremely refreshing thanks to the acidulous flavor of cranberry and lemon juices. The neutrality of the vodka allows the aromas to exhale: the fruity notes of cranberry, the zest and fruitiness of Cointreau and the citrus oil and flowery notes of lemon.
The Cosmopolitan became popular when four women in Sex & The City TV show claimed it as their favorite cocktail.

Recipe:
- 1 1/2 oz vodka
- 1 oz Cointreau
- 1 oz cranberry juice
- 3/4 oz lime juice
Shake and strain into a chilled martini glass.
